About us

WHO ARE WE?

Justice Mail began in 2004, in two Anglican Churches, The church of the Martyr's in Leicester and All Saints in Kings Heath, Birmingham. New groups, mostly based in churches, are joining all the time. There are now five centres managing Justice Mail:

The Curch of the Martyr's Leicester.
All Saints Church Kings Heath
Queens College, Birmingham
All Saints Church Wingerworth
Justice Matters Leistershire

We believe that as followers of Jesus Christ we are committed to work for justice and peace. Although one of our aims is to encourage churches to take a more active interest in social justice, we are open to all people of good will, regardless of their faith or lack of it, who share our hopes for a better world.

WHAT WE DO

If you join this group you will recieve (every two weeks) a suggestion about an action you can take.  your action may take the form of an email, a letter, or a telephone call in support of a campaign sponsored by a major British Social Justice organisation, like OXFAM, World Development Movement, Christian Aid, Church action on Poverty, Jubilee Debt campaign or Amnesty.

We are not a fundraising group.  we will not ask you to contribute financially to these organisations or to us.  We only invite you to share in the growing pressure for Social Justice.
